Through the foundation, individuals can establish a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), allowing them to make a gift today and receive immediate tax and estate planning benefits while the distributions to charitable organizations can be spread over many years. And, as the term “donor-advised” suggests, you can recommend which charities and organizations should benefit from your fund, and how your fund assets should be invested.
